Chief Arvol Looking horse is the 19th generation Keeper of the Sacred White Buffalo Calf pipe and the leader of the Lakota Dakota Nakota Oyate – the Great Sioux Nation
He has had a vision which he wants to share with the world – To all Religious and spiritual leaders.
We have a message for the world. We are guided by all white animals. White animals speak from their sacred color, and we must pray for all sacred things.
As we honor the cycle of life, we are calling for circles globally to assist us to heal our grandmother earth. We must make a choice to change the destructive path we are on and live-in harmony.
Chief Arvol sees a great danger threatening “Grandmother Earth” but feels a great hope for restoring her wholeness. He is calling on all nations to form prayer circles in an effort to return the planet to balance and the people to spirit.
“It’s everyday life for us that we hold Grandmother Earth sacred, we hold the trees and the plants, everything has a spirit. We need people to be really respectful for each other. The Great Spirit put us here all together. If we’re going to survive, we need to have spirit and compassion. We’re asking people to go to their sacred places or sacred spaces to pray.”
This is a sacred Indian tradition, but it translates to all nations. The power of a circle harnesses Universal powers that we do not fully understand, but since everything in life is circular it stands to reason that there is power in the shape of a circle.
